When it comes time for replicating projects we output to DLT (DVD9) or use DVD-R Authoring media (DVD5). Duplication is different from replication. The difference is chemical and in the end compatability. Duplicated disks are copies onto DVD-R media whereas replicated discs are chemically made from a glass master. These 'chemical' DVDs are true DVD, meaning they are 100 percent compatable with all DVD set-top players.

Duplicated disks suffer from a variable ratio of playback problems.

Depending on the filmmakers distribution scenario we would either duplicate short orders in-house or replicate larger orders (over 500 disks) through our fantastic and reliable outsources. Both options include thermal or silkscreen printed full color DVD disks in a variety of packages (glass cases, plastic covers, straight to mail, speciality).
